Saudi Arabia has recently highlighted a major change in the calculation of the validity of the Umrah visa, Wego reports. Previously, Umrah visas were valid for 3 months from the pilgrims’ entry into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Now, the validity starts from the date the visas are issued. As a result, visas will expire on Dhul-Qi’dah 15 of each Hijri year, which falls on 23 May 2024.
This alteration was clarified in an ‘X’ (previously known as Twitter) post where various queries were addressed by the MOHU Care account on 14 April 2024.
